Volunteer celebrated by Princess Anne at London event

A Royal Anglesey Yacht Club Volunteer has been presented with an award by HRH Princess Anne

Caroline Tebbut from Llanddona recently received an award from HRH Princess Anne at the RYA Volunteer Awards in London.  Caroline’s enormous contribution to the sailing club has been recognised in this way due to the time she has given the RAYC over the years as Membership secretary.  During this time Caroline spearheaded a number of developments.

Of her time with Princess Anne Caroline said:  “I was a very uplifting experience and a huge honour.  It was also very motivating and humbling to be amongst such worthy winners, it is something I will never forget.  Both my husband and I enjoyed the day very much and it was wonderful to meet so many interesting people.”
