It was the day of the food festival in Beaumaris and the race officer sent 12 fifes and 3 MSOD’s on course 9 heading towards fryers bay, but the wind had other ideas. Sometimes the boats were seen to be going backwards, and it was definitely a day for the anchors but eventually, on a shortened course, the race finished with 10 fifes crossing (2 retired) the line and all 3 MSOD’s finishing.
