The Royal Anglesey Yacht Club in Beaumaris will this year be taking part in the RYA’s Push the Boat out initiative, which invites everyone and anyone to get on the water.  RYA Push the Boat Out (14-22 May 2016) is a nine day nationwide event that will see hundreds of sailing clubs and centres across the country opening their facilities for local people to come and have a go at sailing and other water sports.

Whether you’re completely new to the sport, looking to get back on the water or sail regularly, the Royal Anglesey Yacht Club will be one of the many sailing clubs and centres  across the country taking part in RYA Push the Boat Out. The event will see hundreds of people taking part in the sport at similar taster sessions.

Starting at 10am, on Sunday 22nd May at the Royal Anglesey Yacht Club, Beaumaris, there will be a whole host of activities taking place.  We are offering taster sessions on keelboats and Celtic rowing boats. There will also be demonstrations of the Dart 16 multihull catamarans.   To book a place please visit our event brite site

Ewan McEwan, RAYC’s Sailing Captain said: “We are delighted to be taking part in the RYA Push the Boat Out. We are inviting the local community to come down to our club, have a go at sailing and rowing, see what we to offer and get involved. Who knows if you visit you might just get hooked!  Anyone who is interested in getting on the water is invited to come along to beautiful Beaumaris on the Isle of Anglesey and join us for a taster”
